National Security: Civil Defence first & largest, then Military Forces

Climate Change is a real and pressing issue, for the whole world and especially for Australia. Changing Climate is “Real & Present Danger” in Military / Political parlance. This isn't a rehash of Al Gore's 2006 blockbuster " An Inconvenient Truth " that earned him the 2007 Noble Peace Prize , nor the 2016 update " An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power ". Nobody  can say "we didn't know", "we weren't warned" nor "nobody was listening". Worldwide, there is massive public interest and concern about the impact of Climate Change and the resulting impact on us and destruction of cities, infrastructure, food supplies and the environment. Government Of the People, By the People, For the People: Can we have Democratic Government without Democratically run Parties?

In the news this week there’s a few fundamental misstatements being peddled by the Liberal-National Party Government that can be usefully investigated and discussed. 1.   The latest Coalition Budget claims to be a “long term plan” for the economy. The Liberals have no Policy process, their minute-to-minute Policies are whatever the current "Parliamentary Wing” Leader decrees. The lack of consistency, or planning, in Policy matters is highlighted by the multiple backflips of Howard - Nelson - Turnbull - Abbott - Turnbull - Morrison. Remember Turnbull’s “Innovation Nation”? 5-minutes of thought-bubble that went nowhere. 2. The Liberals Federal Executive have no apparent rights to direct the NSW Liberals to do anything, let alone enforce “Captains’ Call” preselections. There is no “Federal Liberal Party”, there is only a Federation of Independent and self-governing Associations that chose to field candidates under the one banner. No Way Back, No Way Forward

What does "Rich" mean to you? Would you rather be "Wealthy" (High Net Worth) with a low to modest income, or have a "High Income" job and career but without high value assets. You need to choose between the two: money to live well now, or possibly rivers of gold when you sell. The Residential Property Market in Australia, especially in the six state capitals, sits at, or near, all-time highs in the ratio of Median Price vs Average Income, far in excess of the World Bank / Demographia "severely unaffordable" ratio of 5 [image below]. Especially troubling as real wages have been stagnant since at least the 2008, the Global Financial Crisis (GFC). How & why have buyers bid up prices? We're told this isn't a problem because " homes have never been so affordable ", as mortgage interest rates are at an all time low, so current repayments are low compared to household income.
